Martin Martini & The Bone Palace Orchestra @ The Corner Hotel, Melbourne (14/08/2009)

The final every show!!!! This was a sad gig, but a great one nonetheless. Will be sad not to have the morbid gypsy playing in dark M-Town! You can read my review of the gig by clicking this sentence. Poor John and Take Your Skin Off And Dance were stand outs by far (yes, I'm biased toward the original lineup). "Mum, this is a f***ing expensive paino!" haha.

And now I present to you, the final song of the final gig that Martin Martini & The Bone Palace Orchestra will ever play together... The World Is Broken - it sure is (includes Steve Sedegreen on guest piano, Harry Angus on trumput and a returning Pete Burgess on tuba):

Now, depending on how Martini goes solo, I have a feeling they'll be back at some point.

  1. It was a great night. There will be some reunions in the future, Horse (Martin) and I discussed it. So be on the look out. Cheers, Peter "The Dog" Burgess
